You know how we get so upset or irrational about petty things that happen to us day to day. I think of my own life and too many times I have to stop myself and say "Stop taking yourself so serious". People are too easily offended by meaningless actions that take place in our lives. We either grow from each encounter of friction or we play the fool. Pick the one that will enhance your life. You can be right and still come out as the loser. How many times have you felt like it was your right to be right because you knew that you were right but at the end you would of rather been wrong or just said nothing. That is why we must be quick to listen and slow to speak and get angry.
Stop playing the fool.......Pride comes right before you fall on your face
I think I understand why Jesus said turn the other cheek in Matthew 5:39. He was trying to warn us about our pride and our service at the same time. So I ask you to stop taking your self so seriously and put others before you as a rule of thumb and you will always come out on top
